Kate Winslet

November 26, 2006

She’s out of this world (those eyes!) but describing the amount of admiration and respect that I have for her is an impossible task. No word exists to provide value to the skill, class and maturity she exudes. Kate is so good, she can even make an ad for American Express, sexy (while others leave me wondering who the hell thought this would be a good idea). As mentioned in a previous post, Kate made a memorable and hilarious guest appearance on an episode of ‘Extras‘. Phone sex will never be the same.

Jennifer Connelly

November 26, 2006

Jennifer Connelly was that lost girl in Labyrinth. Now she’s trimmed her eye brows and got on with life – not that she was in horrible shape in her earlier years. JC is the anti-blonde-hollywood-starlette and I appriciate every last inch. She should certainly smile more, though.

Final note

Four words: Requiem for a Dream

Naomi Watts

November 26, 2006

Her latest blockbuster was King Kong but one of her weirdest roles, by far, was in David ‘making sense is over rated’ Lynch’s Mulholland Drive. Noami Watts has easily overcome the label of ‘Nicole Kidmans’ Best Friend‘ and has established herself as one of the film industries best on-screen tits out there. No need for class here.

2007 Pirelli Calendar

November 26, 2006

*This image is from the 2000 calendar shot by my favourite, Annie Leibowitz in New York*

This years Pirelli Calendar features Sophia Loren (who is still deliciously foxy in her mid sixties!), Naomi Watts and Penelope Cruz. This years theme is entitled ‘A Bed and Five Stories’. As if this calendar needs a theme. C’mon.

Check out a collection of past calendars & wiki .

South of Nowhere, S02E08

November 26, 2006

I will be trying to post links to various TV Shows and movies that can be seen via the WORLD WIDE WEB. To start, here is where you can watch last weeks episode of South of Nowhere.

Part 1 of 3

Part 2 of 3

Part 3 of 3

Now, this show is Teeny-bopper, to say the least. But it’s an okay way to kill twenty minutes if you’re desperate. Don’t expect any visuals over PG.

Michelle Rodriguez

November 15, 2006

I don’t think that’s Kafka…

Is she or isn’t she? Who gives a shit. Just knowing that this exists, is enough for me.  Building on her still-young film career, Michelle is gaining in popularity for her teeth and her orientation, but she had me at Blue Crush. That tough girl, ‘I could make Andre the Giant cry to protect you‘ sorta vibe might have something to do with my borderline obsession, too.  Have a gander.

Isn’t she much more appealing when she’s not judging?

As I previously mentioned, Victoria’s Secret 2006 Fashion show is set for December 5th.  A publicity image of the girls who will be in the show this year, has been released . What brainiac decided to put that much fabric on these beautiful women, I have no idea. But they should most certainly be fired for covering things like this and this up. Scarves?! Jackets?! PANTS!? Honestly.

Jennifer Beals

November 14, 2006

Jenny B’s major jump into celebrity-dom came through her body-double-dancin’ in Flash Dance. Now her 80s hair just haunts my nightmares. I swear, every evil-being I dream about has that hair and a slouchy grey sweat shirt. But I digress. Present-day beals has come full circle. Her hair is de-frizzed and her clothes fit. Beals is back, baby. Beals. Is. back.

Leisha Hailey

November 13, 2006

Most recently recognized from her role on the L Word, Leisha also appeared on…Boy Meets World?! So her acting career isn’t in the scope of Robert Deniro or Bonnie Hunt, but her colourful interpretation of Alice Pieszecki gets me everytime. Comedic timing? Check. Easy on the eyes? Check. Played in a band with a song I thouroughly enjoy? Check. Easy on the eyes? Check and Check.

K.D. Lang

November 13, 2006

Singer K.D. Lang and Supermodel Cindy Crawford

She’s an amazing songstress who is able to hush audiences with her sultry tunes. But I can honestly say, I don’t give two shits about her day job. This cover is the first time I remember being confused and fantastically aroused all at once. Seeing such a scene – a butch woman receiving an erotic shave from a swimsuit-clad supermodel – at the age of 11 was memorable to say the least. It’s been burned in my mind ever since and this is the first time I’ve actually told anyone about what it did for me.

Annie Leibovitz

November 12, 2006

If you haven’t heard of Annie Leibovitz, it is HIGHLY likely you’ve come across her work. I remember when I was 10 or 11 and getting my hands on one of the many Vanity Fair covers she’s done over her career, and falling in love.  Her work is quasi-surreal, mysterious, dream-like…just irrefutably perfect.  Every iconic image of our time is most likely by Annie.

Just google her name and enjoy.

Loving Annabelle Torrent

November 12, 2006

Loving Annabelle

It’s from my experience that Lesbian Film torrents only appear after the film is released on DVD.

Loving Annabelle is set to release in the USA and Canada December 12th, 2006.

I would keep a lookout for a torrent closer to that date.

In the meantime, check out some of my previous posts for other films to bide your time

or you can look at this.

Jody Foster

November 8, 2006

Jodie Foster

God!  She’s the B-trifecta: Beautiful, Brilliant and Bitchy.

Who could ask for anything more?  For those three reasons alone, I consider Ms. Foster possibly THE sexiest woman on the planet.  In Hollywood where ‘everybodys’ business is everybody’s business’, her extreme desire for a private life is also a real turn-on. My minuscule lexicon cannot adequately convey how fucking hot this woman ultimately is.

Butterfly (Hu Die), Part II

November 8, 2006

I’ve finally stopped hitting my head against the wall after watching this film. It had so much potential at being an interesting Lesbian story but the choppy dialogue, meaningless acting and just plain annoying characters made me want to watch some porn. Maybe it was all lost in the translation or maybe it was just a bad movie. According to the DVD cover, it had many appearances and accolades from film festivals but I think they left one festival out. The SHIT festival of bull-shit art. Now THAT would be a jam-packed festival.

Butterfly (Hue Die), 2004
Director: Yan Yan Mak
Starring: Yat Ning Chan & Stephanie Che
Clip

Flavia is a thirtysomething married teacher. She has suppressed the memory of her adolescent lesbian fling with Jin and is stuck in a stifling marriage. A chance encounter in a supermarket with the playful and seductive singer Yip reawakens dormant feelings and she begins to think back on her teenage affair with Jin.

This is one of the many, many films I have yet to see. Believe it or not, I do have a life and can’t watch films day and night – though that wouldn’t be a bad gig.

Un Amour de Femme, Update

November 2, 2006

I’ve finally watched this film and highly recommend it.
It contains nothing too surprising and Hélène Fillières is acceptionally stunning in that chaude Francais kind of way. Raffaëla Anderson, however, needs to find herself a new facial expression and borrow this guys‘ shoe lifts.

Amour de Femme, 2001 (TV)

Paz Vega

November 2, 2006

Well I clearly have a type…

Paz Vega

Her North American ‘money winner’ was Spanglish along side Adam ‘take me seriously’ Sandler.

Paz, like Cruz has an extensive portfolio and an unworldly body.  An accent gets me every. time.  This eye-candy brought to you by, Spain and incredible jeans.  Just incredible.

Penelope Cruz

November 2, 2006

Penelope Cruz

Notable (North American) Scene-stealing roles include: Blow with this guy and Vanilla Sky with this guy.  Her Spanish film catelogue is danting, to say the least – and I’m sure MORE delicious than the Hollywood mecca.  And can the girl dance?  You betcha.

Her two MOST notable roles, however…right here.
